The most common and generally accepted type as one of the cheapest table protector materials. Basically it is a piece of fabric made from cotton. On many occasions for dinner today, PVC fabric is used as an alternative to cotton fabric. It is relatively cheap and is a type of disposable table protector and is thinner and lighter. It has a function similar to that of a cotton cloth and can withstand the heat of the bottom of beverage containers. The biggest advantage to using a PVC cloth is that it can be kept relatively clean during dinner reception, as it can easily wipe off the dirt from the spill. This keeps the dining room table clean and tidy.
