Taxi services: tip your taxi driver

Many people who work with taxi companies are exactly how and how much they should tip their taxi drivers. Finding a last minute amount can be embarrassing and quite frustrating too, and calculating is not an easy thing for some people. People can often feel that they are too cheap in front of other people, including the taxi driver.

One of the first suggestions is to estimate the advice that should be given to the taxi driver. Tips are how taxi drivers earn their income, so keep in mind that every time you take a taxi, it is almost always necessary to leave a tip. As for how much you should tip your driver, there are a few different ways and tricks to help you determine how much you should be giving.

First of all, if you decide to use taxi services, you need to estimate what the total charge will be and then make sure you have 10% of the taxi fair as a tip. An average of 15% is normal, but 10% is just as fair and should not be less. Most people will only give the driver a fixed amount of money and then tell the driver to just stick with the change, but the problem with this is that sometimes the difference is less than 10%. Take for example if your fee is $ 17.50. If you give them $ 20 for example, keep the change, which is good advice for your route. If your ride is shorter, or your total taxi fare is closer to the dollar amount you gave the driver, you shouldn't leave a dollar for the tip. This is not fair advice and should not be ignored. Taxi drivers work hard for their money and therefore should receive a fair tip.

Another method to help you tip your taxi driver is to calculate the math for your tip just like you would in a restaurant. If you choose this method, never be afraid to ask the river for the change and then tip you. Typically, the tip should be 15%, but again, 10% is also fair enough. However, if you have a better trip than expected and the driver provides excellent service, maybe add a little more to show your appreciation.
