How to edit PDF in Word?

According to a recent report, Adobe estimates that there are about 300 million PDFs in circulation, the size and usage of this format is still growing exponentially. People today cannot live without it. Faxing seems outdated, many people can hardly remember the last time they use the fax machine for file transfer. Everything is saved as PDF and shared via email.

PDF is quite handy, all we need is just a free Adobe Reader, reading is not a problem. Do you realize that PDF is not easy to edit? Of course, a complete Adobe Acrobat can help, but it costs hundreds of dollars and takes time to be an Acrobat expert.

You have to be frustrated when you need to edit PDF, but you can't do anything with the free Adobe Reader. We have been using Microsoft Office for a long time, so a good PDF for Word editor will help a lot. Here are some tips.

1. Create PDF to Word manually.
If the file is open to all users, you can simply press Ctrl + C to copy the selected text from PDF and press Ctrl + V to paste the text into Word document. This is the easiest way to create PDF for Word, but what if you need to convert thousands of pages into Word document? Your fingers should be exhausted. What's worse is if the file contained complicated layouts, you don't keep the format as it looked in PDF format. So this method is only for those who want to convert a few pages to Word and they are text based so you can edit PDF in Word without any problems.

2. Switch PDF to Word automatically

If you need to automatically convert PDF to Word, there are some useful PDF to Word converters available in the market. I take this PDF to Word Converter as an example to show you how to edit PDF in Word document.
Step 1, Import PDF Files to PDF to Word Converter

You can either click "Add PDFs" on the left to import PDFs, or drag PDFs to the main panel. You can even right-click the PDF you want to convert, then select Convert with PDF to Word Converter, and then convert after a few seconds without starting the program. The PDF converter supports batch conversion mode, you can convert 200 PDF files at once.

Step 2, Select Page Range

If you just want to convert some specific pages in the a.pdf file, click the Selected Pages box and enter the page numbers to convert. For example, 1, 3-6, 9-10, 12, it is extremely flexible.

Step 3, select the output directory, and then start the conversion

You can save to the same folder as the source or customize the output folder. Then click "Convert". The conversion will end in seconds. It took just 45 seconds to convert 286 pages of PDF to Word document. This is the speed test result.

See, editing PDF in Word is as easy as ABC, all original text content, images, layout and even hyperlinks will be perfectly preserved after conversion. What's more, even protected PDF can be converted if you have the legal rights to copy or print a PDF file, but it is protected by the owner's password, just convert it to Word so the restrictions are removed.
